today is a good day.

So there’s nothing on the teevee and I’m not feeling up to working out. The other option is to go back to the office. Not even considering that yet. Instead I will sit in the corner of this dark, cool room, vaguely listening to a show about bull sharks in rivers (creeping shit, rivers?!) While wondering how best to waste the next two hours of work. I should be studying arabic or planning a route through the desert, but I’m not. Some days are so productive. Others I just cant get worked up enough to do much of anything.

Meh. Whatever. I’ll waste another half hour in here, go back to office long enough for smokey mcfuckah to hit the butt hut, and then I’ll waste an hour in the truck. Lately, whenever I have to go out to do rounds, I turn on the gps, load up Zombie, run! and drive erratically around the compound while evading the virtual undead. Then I write some numbers on a sheet of paper and put it in a filing cabinet so that it looks like I’ve done something official.

I think I’m going to try to leave early.
